This cathedral is one of the most beautiful cathedral I've never seen. The architecture of the exterior is Romanesque and the inside of every wall is covered with mosaics thanks to 75 years of work by 20 artists.

St Louis was first claimed by the French, specifically by Pierre Laclede and Auguste Chouteau in 1764, who named the city after Louis IV of France. St Louis was a major port on the Mississippi river in the 19th century; it was at the time the 4th largest city in the United State.
The Gateway Arch, (or St Louis Arch) is a 192m tall monument. The construction of the arch began on February 12, 1963 and was completed on October 28, 1965. The Sears Tower is the 2nd tallest building of the United States , and have been the tallest building in the world nearly 25 years. It is 442m tall. The construction of the tower began in 1970, and the Skydeck officially open to the public in 1974. In 2009 the Sears tower officially renamed Willis tower after being bought by the Willis company an insurance group. The Skydeck offers a 360 degrees view of the city.
